Falling Lime

A slice of lime dropped into sparkling water. Great shot demostrating freezing motion.

How I Got the Shot: Set this up in midday with a reflector underneath the glass. That way the sun will light the top nice and the reflector will do it's work under the fruit. This limits casting shadows from the blue background and below the glass.
Set the tripod up and try to get a high-end shutter release around 1/1000 sec. or higher. Drop the fruit in while firing off several frames via a shutter release. It's a lot of fun!
